Tableau Mort Announce Release Date for Debut Album:
Via Press Release (truncated for efficiency):
—

London based Black Metal sextet TABLEAU MORT will release their debut album Stigma Book 1: Mark of Delusion on the 28th of June in collaboration with Loud Rage Music.
Stigma Book 1: Mark of Delusion was recorded by Jerry Sadowski and George Topor between July 2018 – February 2019 and then mixed and mastered by Neil Haynes at the well-known Parlour Studios UK. The cover artwork is signed by Alex Shadrin from Nether Temple Design.
Drawing on symbolic and thematic influences from Romanian Orthodox Christianity, the album is a spiritual journey exploring humanities fixation with knowledge, sacrifice and perfection, which is often a path to madness. Whilst TABLEAU MORT describe themselves as a Black Metal band, there are many aspects and layers to their sound, delivering modern and powerful music. Drawing inspiration from across the many sub-genres of metal, TABLEAU MORT value the creation of an atmospheric and emotional sound, that is both melodic and melancholic. Vocally, TABLEAU MORT mix Orthodox chanting with frenzied screams to expand on their macabre foundations.

Shades of Deep Water Premier New Track:
Via Press Release:
—

Today, funeral doom titan Shades of Deep Water premieres the new track “Death’s Threshold – Part 3” at heavily trafficked web-portal CVLTNation.com. The track hails from the band’s highly anticipated second album, Death’s Threshold, set for international release on July 25th via Dunkelheit Produktionen. Hear Shades of Deep Water‘s “Death’s Threshold – Part 3” in its entirety exclusively HERE.
A cult fixture in the funeral doom scene, Shades of Deep Water began its exploration of the abyss in 2006. The sole creation of one J.H., the band’s ascent/descent has been as steady as his music is slow. From 2007 to 2009, three demos were released in succession and then the Constant Pressure EP in 2012, all before the debut album, Waterways, in 2013. Aptly titled, Waterways suggested the aquatic, abyssal themes Shades of Deep Water would henceforth explore. From there, J.H. hit a creative streak, with two more EPs following as well as two compilations, such was the demand for his music among ultra-doom aficionados.
Now, at long last, arrives Shades of Deep Water‘s magnum opus, Death’s Threshold. Likewise aptly titled, Death’s Threshold is a veritable exploration (and celebration) of his native Finland’s rich history in funeral doom and doom-death. Comprising four utterly epic, stretched-across-the-abyss tracks in a vast-yet-focused 41 minutes, here do Shades of Deep Water drown the listener in physically/spiritually crushing atmosphere, dragging that listener down/down/DOWN under, far below the depths and never to return; the effect is hauntingly hypnotic, and almost comfortingly so. But, as this is strictly (and unapologetically) within the funeral doom pantheon, rest assured that there is no light, no hope, wherever the album roams.
Where will you chose to roam? Allow Shades of Deep Water to take you to Death’s Threshold. Take the next step there with the new track “Death’s Threshold – Part 3” in its entirety exclusively HERE, courtesy of CVLTNation.com. Take the first steps with the previously revealed tracks “Death’s Threshold – Part 1” and “Death’s Threshold – Part 2” HERE at Dunkelheit‘s Bandcamp, where the album can also be preordered.

Abazagorath and One Master to Release New Split:
New AdMat material from Eternal Death indicates a split on the horizon between One Master and Abazagorath. Unfortunately, there’s not much more info in regards to release dates or featured material.
Obviously, there’s also a planned split between Perdizione and Haxen, but you’re seeing what I’m seeing in terms of info.
However…as I was getting ready to launch this update, somebody associated with Abazagorath/One Master split estimates that the release should be out sometime before the end of 2019 and will contain new material in addition to rerecorded older material.

Polish Cancer Patient Scares Spud Monsters:
More hilarity in the ever-evolving tale of dumb, overly dramatic bullshit in current-day heavy metal:
Long story short, tap water champion and Yoga enthusiast Nergal spooked some gingers with his band’s imagery. I wouldn’t suffer sitting through that podcast.
Crypts of Wallachia Prepare to Release First Demo:

Crypts of Wallachia are preparing to drop their first demo, available through Medieval Prophecy Records.
Again, however, I have very little information. Release date was listed as “a few weeks…”
I do have the link for one of the tracks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mRZCx1Thqo
Bacterium Debut New Music Ahead of September Release:
September is slated as the release timeframe for Bacterium’s Sunt Lacrymae Rerum, to be released through Fuck Yoga Records on digital and CD formats.

Scythe Lore’s Debut EP Streaming at Decibel:
Via Press Release:
—

Today, rising death metal monolith Scythe Lore stream the entirety of their striking debut EP, Through the Mausoleums of Man, at Decibel magazine’s website. Set for international release on June 21st, hear Scythe Lore‘s Through the Mausoleums of Man in its entirety exclusively HERE.
Hailing from Germany, Scythe Lore are a death metal band in all its aspects, in every definition. Not for nothing is this power-trio named Scythe Lore: this beast is being hurled into the world with both stealth and mystery. Its first manifestation of dread, darkness, and doom suitably bears the title Through the Mausoleums of Man. As that title suggests, the six-track/20-minute record is a journey which details man’s interactions with death and its implications in all corners, all depths and all highs of this realm.
Suffused with sulfur and fury, Scythe Lore thereby use and fuse all elements of death metal – or “Dark Death Metal,” as they so proclaim it, with influences/elements from ancient ’90s dark metal – sometimes manifesting itself fast, sometimes slow, but always ugly. It’s a quick and cavernous listen, righteously rumbling and roiling with excitement and electricity at every turn: get absolutely GUTTED going Through the Mausoleums of Man!

Alcoholocaust Debut New Music, Announce Date for Debut Release:
Via Press Release:
—

Today, Helldprod Records sets September 5th as the international release date for Alcholocaust‘s highly anticipated debut album, Necro Apocalipse Bestial, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.
Expursed from the vast and highest Portuguese mountains, the underground genes run ruthless and cold in the arms of those that aim the poisonous path of metal, unless you use those same features to warm yourself along with the night fiery ghouls. Speaking of which, what better way to do that than get shitfaced forever? It seems a curse, but in this case, it gave birth to Alcholocaust back in 2006: The Thrashing Demons of Speed Chaos Beverage!
After getting their banging heads hydrated with all sorts of alcohol, Alcholocaust always showed their musical abilities to the extreme and believe that no raw demo recording could stop them a bit. Instead, and after a successive outburst in their prime times, they have built a legion of maniacs that party hard and unleash the metal fumes like no other. Highly inflamed by the old masters of the Teutonic school of metal, they present themselves armed to the teeth and ready to indulge you neck-breaking aches in honor of their loyal inspirations such as Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, and Germany’s Poison.
“Show No Mercy” is Alcholocaust‘s theme since they care not about the scene or any kind of trendy, poser-like mainstream attitude. These guys are metal PUNKS and provide the necessary SCUM into your ears. So welcome to this diabolical gathering and embrace their first full-length in 13 years (random but appropriate lucky number), Necro Apocalipse Bestial, at its fullest haste.
Relentless to the bone and iron to the core, these 10 songs will tight you in chains and unleash your fury upon the ordinary metallic traditions. Fully sung in the native language, there’s not one single moment of fragility or chastity in sight. On the other (left) hand, you can raise your horned fist and hellbang to this powerful, impious, and obsessive rocking madness. Mandatory for backpatches, bulletbelts, spiked leather wristbands, heavy metal worshipers, and worldwide desecrating drinkers!
Begin the worldwide desecrating with the new track “Assalto Metalico,” which can be heard HERE at Helldprod‘s Soundcloud as well as HERE at Helldprod‘s Bandcamp.

Cult of Extinction Debut New Music:
Via Press Release:
—

Today, war metal machine Cult of Extinction premieres the new track “Blood of the Theurg” at heavily trafficked web-portal CVLTNation.com. The track hails from the band’s striking debut album, Ritual in the Absolute Absence of Light, set for international release on July 19th via Iron Bonehead Productions. Hear Cult of Extinction‘s “Blood of the Theurg” in its entirety exclusively HERE.
The devastating force known as Cult of Extinction was evoked from the abyss in 2017 by sole member Void. Influenced by bands like Revenge, Blasphemy, and Proclamation, the goal was to create a merciless onslaught of pitch-black war metal with a mystical and eerie atmosphere. In 2018, the first demo Black Nuclear Magick Attack was released via Sentient Ruins and Atavism Records. Here, the songs were driven by a fascination with the infinite chaos of the cosmos and Void’s attempt to capture its destructive essence.
And indeed, with Ritual in the Absolute Absence of Light does Cult of Extinction accomplish that lofty goal. Utterly CRUSHING in its sonic excesses, uniquely, there exists a paradoxically ethereal feel across the album’s eight-song/33-minute span. It’s a savagely twisted disconnect that truly puts Cult of Extinction in a league of its own: undeniably “war metal” by definition, no longer is Void totally tethered to those aforementioned influences and instead creates a multi-dimensional maelstrom of inexorable might. Also of note are the hauntingly stretched-out lead-guitar parts, further exploring that ethereal-onto-crushing aspect. Consequently, the lyrics across Ritual in the Absolute Absence of Light are inspired by the dark forces of nature and propagate a total war against light.
Behold the triumph of darkness! Behold Cult of Extinction‘s Ritual in the Absolute Absence of Light! The next absolute ritual can heard with the new track “Blood of the Theurg” exclusively HERE, courtesy of CVLTNation.com. The first absolute ritual can be found with the previously revealed “Emanated From the Cosmic Darkness” HERE at Iron Bonehead‘s Soundcloud.
